Brain Log [5]

314 Words
I was awakened by a spine-chilling cry inside the room. The time was two in the morning. I look over catching sight of the angry older woman who resides in my room on the floor rolled up into a fetal position rolling back and forth writhing in pain imitating the actions of a human being, being cooked alive. However, I don't believe she was a normal human being because of her paleness and invisibility to my family and the nurses. “b***h poisoned the well, b***h poisoned the well” she mutters, still continuing her back-to-forth rolling action. I shiver as chilly air sweeps over me. “Who is the b***h?” Her rolling paused. Her eyes crack wide open and fixes on me with a deadly glare. “She comes at night” She whispers, I feel my heart stop when she materializes closer to my face. “You! You did this!” She screams appearing in both sides of my ears. I cover my ears yelling at her to shut up. Suddenly, the wind inside the room started swirling into a dark tornado pulling every one of the machines I was hooked into together. Every file and clothes follow. The rotten smell I'd encounter every day with eyes forced closed seems like a distant memory as the tornado inside rages on and my screams couldn't convince her to stop it. “That's alright it can be fixed” she whispers. It was like a machine being powered off, the tornado disappeared into nothingness. The light came alive everywhere and my room was bare open allowing the nurses to rush in with the guards and I returned to being unable to say anything or even move. “The patient is coding!” She yells. When I feel a jolt of electricity traveling down my chest I feel my vision turning into a blur.
