REGINA suddenly lost her mood. She felt her heart going numb. She knew deep down that she had no intention of stealing Fabian away. It was enough for her to love him secretly. But to be made to feel by Irene that she didn't meet Fabian's standards felt like a repeated slap to her, and she felt an overwhelming heaviness in her chest. She sighed. She seemed to have been standing outside Fabian's room for about five minutes now, and she almost didn't want to go in. She felt small and insignificant.
