FABIAN sat up on the bed after Regina left his room. He had been ignoring and not talking to her all day. He knew it was not right. He was just upset about what she had said earlier. Perhaps he had expected more from her. He didn't like her reply that she wouldn't leave because it was her job. At least he had assurance, right? He sighed. What was he thinking? So what if she left him eventually? It's inevitable. They would reach that point. But why did a part of his heart resist that? Maybe he said that because he felt comfortable with the girl.
