CHAPTER SEVEN The cameras flashed as Charlie and Eva stepped out of their limousine into the lushly carpeted foyer of the lean, forty-storey high rise building overlooking Darling Harbour. Dennehy Towers, the latest construction project of the Dennehy Corporation, twinkled with coloured lights, resembling a multi-coloured rocket. A reporter stepped forward, blocking their way. Eva recognised his well-fed, obsequious face as the gossip columnist from one of the Sunday rags. 'How much are you hoping to raise tonight, Mr Dennehy?' he asked. 'We're on target to raise a quarter of a million dollars,' Charlie replied. 'And that will be distributed equally amongst the six charities who have their offices here.'
