CHAPTER SIXTEEN 'And now would you please give a warm welcome to the patron of ReadWrite, Mrs Eva Dennehy.' Eva rose from her seat at the front table and walked up to the stage in the function room of Dennehy Towers. She looked down at the sea of faces. A couple of newspaper photographers stood at the side of the room, their cameras clicking and flashing. Eva had been clammy with anxiety during the first few speeches she made as Mrs Charles Dennehy, but after years of experience, she was now able to project an air of poise and self-confidence.
