Chapter 23Steph Lunch was a lively affair with people comparing their first horseback experience before they were even seated. Steph wasn’t as strict a vegetarian as some, which she’d told Gittie at breakfast, and the egg salad sandwiches the cook had graciously provided especially for her were delicious. Despite stuffing her face along with the rest of the guests, Steph was eager to get back to riding, and rather than sharing the cramped cabin space with the other three, she decided to stroll around the ranch after eating.
