It involves lots of labor and money and it is a huge time commitment. But the shared love for our four-legged partners is so special that wherever you live and wherever you go, you’ll never be alone if you bring your horse along.
I’m lucky to have experienced numerous connections with countless people on two continents, and to call some of the people I met in my teens my friends still, my family, even. Horse people feel with and for you when your animal is sick or has to be put down. They offer advice when you’re struggling, and moral support on your bad days. They’re the ones to stay long after dark when your rig break
