“Would you like me to deliver them?” Nate, my Beta, asks. I glance at the confidential documents and shake my head. “I don’t mind. I’ll be going in that direction anyway.”
“No, I think I’ll have Fiona deliver them.”
“Fiona?” He questions, his brows rising high on his forehead.
“Yes.” I nod and glance out of my office window to where she’s sitting at her desk, talking on the phone. “I trust her. She’s been working hard and is extremely dedicated to her position, helping me with anything I ask without complaint, even when I give her ridiculous tasks that she should complain about.”
