The Lycan princess

Chapter 4

That was two years ago. I spent the last two years training and waking up every morning at 4:55 AM like I have been doing my whole life.

My training has gotten more intense. Within a week of me being back home I started to get my abilities and within a month I had all of my abilities. My parents said it was the fastest anyone in our bloodline has ever gotten their ability since our moon goddess has created us. To say I had growing pains was an understatement, I could barely move from my bed so my powers started to develop and I was almost never hungry. Because of all of these things the doctor said I almost died while transitioning to gain my powers. But it is still said that I might get more powers when I meet or chose my second chance mate.

After the growing pains passed at first I had no control over my powers and I had lost my temper and I almost destroyed a part of the castle, but thankfully my dad had injected me with a ton of wolfsbane to knock me out. We soon learned that everything, all of my senses are heightened my hearing, seeing, my speed is faster I’m just as strong as my dad. 

However I was told that the one thing that would make me the most sought after with or without a mate is the fact that I can heal others. Which is problematic because the last and only person to have had this power (and much more) were the first queen. My great great like really great grandmother who was the most powerful Lycan our kind have ever seen, and people have literally started wars and fights just to get the first queen and to be able to use her powers and try to take the place as king. And because of this it was decided that we would keep one of my powers a secret (healing others) until I find my second chance mate or until I chose someone to be my mate.

So the moon goddess had created a mate for my great grandmother. Her mate was to be just as strong and just as equal as she was, and to be able to take his rightful place next to the queen so no one else can take that place. And together they had ruled the kingdom and our kind until they had kids and passed down the title to their first born. Till this day they are known as the most powerful queen and king of our kind. Although it has been many many years since they had ruled and passed their story has lived on all these years. 

Now it has been two years and I have had complete control over my abilities. I never heal anyone unless it’s a life or death situation because it can sometimes take a toll on my strength. Even then I can heal myself pretty quickly. So in a way I can’t die. Well I can but it’s really hard to try to kill me. I never read anyone’s mind, not unless I have to. I just feel like it’s an invasion of privacy and if I am being honest I wouldn’t really want anybody to be reading my mind. However it does come in handy when we need to interrogate someone. At first my parents and everyone else were against me interrogating our prisoners, you know what they say a princess isn’t really supposed to get her hands dirty and all.

    But as we all know I am not a regular princess. I’m a powerful lycan princess. However once they realized just how ruthless I am and how I interrogate our prisoner's they decided to just let me go ahead and interrogate our prisoners instead. Because of how ruthless I am when it comes to interrogating our prisoners (per my fathers orders) I am only allowed to interrogate them when they are the most difficult one’s to deal with and our normal interrogators can't get any information out of them. Not many people can stomach being in the interrogation room with me so most of the time I go in alone or the guards/interrogators leave when they can’t take it any more.

    They call me the ruthless princess. And because of that and because of how I train (thanks to my uncle). I am the top warrior in the kingdom, and I only choose the best warriors for special missions. Every one of our warriors want's to be picked to go on these missions and as long as they work hard and prove themselves then they get picked. I train our warriors along side with my uncle, we have the most ruthless training in the entire werewolf kingdom. Our training consists of many things including how to escape if you are captured, how to deal with being tourtured, martial arts, and many other fighting and survival techniques. 

We even have a training ground for future alphas, betas and their top elite warriors who get hand picked by their alphas and future leaders sent to our kingdom for training. We don't just physically train other packs and their future leaders. We help them to understand the financial aspect, what makes them a good leader, how to be a good leader. How to invest, how to conduct interogation's and any other help that they might need to be successful in running their packs. Sometimes we even include them in our advanced elite warrior training. To my family the kingdom only runs as good as the packs, so it is our duty to help when help is needed. It is our duty to make sure every pack is running right. 

    My father, and uncle go to other packs when they request our help. My father doesn't always take me because he feels like its not best for me to go or he feels like it won't be of much importance for me to be there. Many Alpha's have requested my hand in marriage but I always refuse. I have no room for a love life at the moment and honestly I have no intentions to be involved with anyone. At least not any time soon. I am so focused on helping run the kingdom and training that I don't have much room for anything else. Ive had many people try to get my attention and try to take me out on dates but I always turn them down. Some are good and actually have good intentions, but most just want power and wealth. If I can't guarantee that I could or ever would love someone then I won't give anyone a chance, and since I am not ready for that yet then no one gets a chance. That is also a reason my father doesn't always take me with him and I don't really mind. I am tired of these Alpha's always being persistent and not taking No for an answer.
