Chapter 5

I was very much frustrated in knowing that I have to meet Mr Black, but it intrigue me as well thinking what is it they require from me this time. I always have to adhere to what they expect from me but this time I am thinking of being a rebel and just the sake of things.

But then thought against it thinking the prank can come again.  I kept all the bad things all the vulnerable things happened in the past at the back of my mind. I have locked the part of the childhood where I  have suffered on the hands of my so called mother and father. They both do not deserve the word parents and should not ever be compared to other good parents, the ones I have read in the books.

I do try to become a good authority figure at the orphanage but at the end of the day I am still a kid at heart.

I am a master at sarcasm, I do know that I would have to forgo my forgiving nature and be the person that the company would need. I am trying my level best and not to have worry but the anxiety is still there and it is going to be there for the rest of the day as well.

When I reached home everything is in chaos and everyone is running like a headless chicken.

"What is happening?" 

"All of them at once sheepishly  looking at me and then they started acting normal again like they are the angels ."

I went to the kitchen in search of some food and I am in a mood of having some pizza for dinner. Everyone agreed and we ordered approximately 10 boxes of the same with the side of coke and some choco lava cake as well, which was to die for . 

Once the food is in their tummy everything was good in the world and I and the rest of the teenagers went in helping with the little ones.

Once the stories are done and every one in the bed then, I relaxed and felt like I can sleep for the next eternity.

But when I  hanged in my pjs and was on the bed the sleep escaped me and all I started thinking that what will happen tomorrow? How am I going to tackle whatever the universe would send my way?

The next morning both Marry Anne and I preparing the breakfast for the kids which was quite a selection now that we would not have to restrict the portion size just because we would not have the means to purchase something once something is finished. 

SO, the breakfast items were eggs, bacon, pancakes with maple syrup and a dash of butter, orange juice, apple juice, a croissant and coffee for us and the helpers.

After that is done I rushed for the meeting with Mr Black and willed myself in being positive that everything would be okay and not be something out of a horror movie.

I had time before the meeting so, I thought of stopping for some coffee as I was not able to enjoy at home and really wanted something cold.So, I went for a Starbucks which was near Mr Black's office and ordered ,myself a frappe and a blueberry muffin. 

I crashed on a wall and my nose was hurting but I just moved from position as walls cannot be there all of a sudden as it was not there a minute before.

When I saw on my hand, I was like what the hell which was once a very delectable muffin is now in the ruins and every last crumb is on a stranger's very expensive suit and the said stranger is glaring at me. If looks can kill I would be 6 ft under in approximately a second.

"Oh Crap" was all going from my mind.

"I am very sorry sir, wasn't seeing where I was going."

"He was still glaring at me , " See where you go, You have spoiled my suit and my day as well."

"I will pay for the damage sir"

"You wouldn't be able to"

Again I apologized profusely but still he was snarling at me and I thought I heard a growl as well.

After that, I tucked my tail and rushed to Mr Black thinking that How clumsy can I be ?

Once, again I was awed by the building and everything but this time I was confident as well.

And my happiness cannot be deterred even if someone tried to as well.

But again I spoke very early and thought I would regret the same.

Then too I am a fighter, I fight and win  was what I was thinking for the entire way up in the elevators.
