Chapter 3

The next morning, I woke up with a start thinking about the dream I had a previous night that I have a deceased grandfather who has left me god knows what in his will. That two people visited me last night and now I have to go to them about  the will hearing in which it seems with the extremely formal language they were speaking has a lot.

But now understanding the joke of the situation I just smirked at myself thinking that a mind can be so atrocious that can conjure up any thoughts ideas which are so far fetched from reality.

After having a nice shower I dressed myself in a high waisted jean shorts along with a top and putting my hairs in a french braid , I went to the kitchen to have some breakfast.

I was serving myself with some breakfast cereal when I noticed that Marry Anne is looking at me in a quite weird  face. 

"What ?" is what I asked her with a mouth full.

"You are quite chill with what happened yesterday.. Aren't you getting late for your meeting with them regarding the Will?"  Was her reply.

That is when I lost all the color from my face and I realized that I am feeling lightheaded as well thinking that what till now I was thinking was some sort of my imagination is actually a reality wherein it did happen yesterday.

When she saw what is happening and how hyperventilated I was feeling she told me that " Everything would be alright Syd." 

 She gave me the card with their personal details and the address of their office building and that my meeting is supposed to be at 10 am and it is now 8:30 and the building is quite far via cab it will take me approximately 45 minutes.

I rushed to grab a cab and when I was sitting in the cab I was feeling very bad and I was quite scared that what ill happen now and whether what will happen in the future would be good. 

I didn't realized that I have reached until the cab driver said that we are here. I paid him and enter the large glass building and once again feeling scared out of mind .

I was feeling under dressed as all the people present there are either in business suits or in business formals making me feel like an 18 year old.

I went to the reception desk asking that I have meeting with Mr Black and all I feel from her is getting the feeling of being judged.

When she called to confirm my appointment She asked for my name , "Its Sydney Lane". 

"You can take those elevators up to the 18th floor and will find another reception area and can ask for the way in."

I went from the lift to the 18th floor and when the doors opened and I found a smiling lady and she told me to go right in as they were waiting for me.

I knocked once, and when I heard a come in I entered. The first thing I noticed is the floor to ceiling windows and the beautiful New York skyline which left me absolutely mesmerized.

They Told me to Sit and I sat down on the chair .

" Would you like for some coffee Sydney" asked Mr Black.

"No, thank you, I am quite alright."

"Let's start with the information we were discussing yesterday when you fainted'

I blushed thinking about that and just nodded my head to tell them that I understood.

" So, Mr Blitz your grandfather was a very successful being. He was kind and very down to earth , if you have had gotten the pleasure of knowing him, I know this you would have loved him. Your mother was the only child of Mr Christopher Blitz and he loved her very dearly. But when she feel in love with her drug addict of a boy friend, he knew that it would be a lost cause. He tried everything in his power to make your mother understand that he is no good for her, but he realized that he had your mother hooked on the drugs.

He sent her to the rehab but she doesn't want to be better so she ran away from there with your father.SO, after all those years later he found out about you he was ecstatic. But it was near impossible for us to locate you. We were doing everything in our power to find you before the disease took Mr Blitz from us it was too late.

So, now that we have found you I want to discuss that what have you inherited from him. You are now the sole heir of Mr Blitz properties. You have gotten the mansion in New York, the business Mr Blitz own and we know that you have graduated early and done a degree in Business Management.  After that you have gotten a private jet, a private helicopter along with that you have gotten 5 private islands. And the numerous billions in the bank accounts. Also, with that you have gotten a penthouse in Paris, Hawaii , numerous hotels and restaurants as well.

This is the file that has all the details regarding your inheritance. With that you are going to get your mother's college fund and her trust fund as well.

We will be your lawyers from now on as our fees has been covered by Late Mr Blitz for the future n number of years. If you any assistance and any of our needs then we will be glad too help. 

"I am finished, do you have any questions?" 

" So, you are saying that everything you have mentioned earlier and more  are my mine to deal with."

"Yes" He mentioned chuckling in amusement.

"Okay, so lets start with a line of business. I would want one of the mansions you have mentioned and I want you to get the workers around and make the entire place child friendly. Also, with that I would need a chef, a Gardner, if the mansion does not have."

"What would you need with all those things."

I just simply mentioned  that, " I am not the only one who is going to move all the children at the orphanage along with the care taker Marry Anne would be moving in "

the kids will get everything they would ever desire and would not have to be starved over.

"Okay was all he said." but I can see that they both are proud of my decision.

I am going to go home and tell Marry everything and after that help the kids with packing up their belongings.

Also, one more help Mr Black, " I would need to buy the land on which the orphanage is and then make a place for single parents and teenagers who would need our help and all the amenities required.

"I will look into it and will let you know in the few days" was all he said.

I hugged him and told him thanks.

I left and went home with a skip in my steps as I wanted to tell the happy news to them.

When I reached there I went to find Marry and told her everything Mr Black told me and also tell her what I plan on doing from now on.

She was extremely happy and told me that we would both told everyone on dinner and we both got set on the task of working and making dinner.

At 7 every kid came down and sat. The bigger ones helping the younger ones filling their plates first and after that taking some for themselves making sure that some has been left for me and Marry Anne .

" Kids, Syd and I have something to tell you guys."

They gave their attention to us and then Marry Anne told them what I have found today and they became extremely sad.

"What happened " I asked them.

Courtney the 15 year old teenager told me " we are sad that you are going to leave us all."

I Smirked at them and told them, " I am not the only one who is moving we all are."

We are going to be moving in a mansion where all the kids will have a playground all the older kids would get to make a game room in which whatever they would need will get."

I am going to make sure everything would be present there which we would need and nobody will have to see at the portion sizes that if we do not we will bee hungry."

We have become rich that does not mean we are going to be over spending, I am going to be joining my granddad's company and anyone who have any interest in getting an internship for the business courses will have to ask Marry Anne first and we will try to make that happen.

The rest we will discuss tomorrow. Now, lets start packing and after that we will have some Ice cream. 

Everyone were laughing and enjoying and I finally get to relax and then I went to my room to rest. After half an hour of rest I started the tedious task of packing.

At 9 in the evening we all were enjoying ice cream and after that we all went to our respective rooms to sleep.

I had a smile on my face thinking that I am going to help these kids and myself and My family would not want for anything else.
