05. Not that kind of rescue you’d prefer

1508 Words
HANNAH The group of rogues approached me from the front side and to my surprise they only passed by, proceeding with their running and aiming at the other group of rouges which was behind me. A war of rouge packs? How bizarre. “They are not rogues, Hannah. They are warriors! I can smell it.” Cleo barked excitedly and I scratched the back of my neck. So, the warriors of the Northwest Crescent pack came to save us. Cool. Such a relief. I couldn’t wait to thank them properly and ask to be escorted back to Golden Meadows. I watched how the warriors killed all the rogues with ease and elegance even. Wow! If I ever got into their military forces, I’d be that great just like them. And as the last rouge died under the sharp claws of a mighty warrior, all of them shifted back to their human forms. Holy Goddess! So many bananas at once made my face turn red. Um, maybe I shouldn’t shift and walk naked around so many males. “And who do we have here?” A bulky warrior came closer to me, touching my tail, which made Cleo flinch and growl at him. Rude. “Is she feral?” Another warrior chimed in and I realized that being in my wolf form could give the wrong impression of being a rogue. So, I shifted. And the crowd whistled. On second thought, showing everyone my t**s in the middle of nowhere was not smart either. Especially when my n*****s were very hard due to all the cold. I quickly covered my intimate parts with my hands, even though it did not help much. All those males started to circle me like a prey. “I like her. Can I keep her?” An ugly warrior with black hair said, chuckling and winking at me. Ew. “Why should you have her? It’s my turn to have some fun.” The sleazy warrior with ginger hair stepped forward and grabbed me by my wrist, making me fall on my knees. Seriously? This is how they treated a lady? They must have sensed that I was a ranked wolf. Or not? “Hey! Get your filthy hands off me, you asshole!” I roared at him. I bet once they learned about my rank and who my father was, they would definitely hide all their tails between their legs. “The female is feisty. Me likey.” Another warrior licked his lips and it got me chills. I wanted to puke. Ew, ew, ew. “What is going on here?” A powerful growl interrupted us and the warrior released my hand from his grip, bowing his head in submission. The robust male figure was towering over our little circle, and everyone bared their necks to him. He must have been a leader of this warrior group, a general or something like that. He pushed some of his men aside and entered the circle, standing right above me like a large tower of muscles. He was blond with grey eyes and very nicely shaped. And had a huge d.ick. I could tell, as the banana was swinging right in front of my face. “She’s not feral, Alpha. She must belong to one of the packs.” The ugly warrior said, and I stood up abruptly, ready to brief everybody on my title. But wait – Alpha? I knew the Alpha of Northwest Crescent pack and this was certainly not him. I surely only misunderstood what the warrior said. Or maybe they only nicknamed him, showing him some respect. “Excuse me, sir. First of all, thank you for your assistance in resolving my little rogue problem. I was outnumbered but luckily your warriors arrived just in time. I think I should head back to my pack now and would very much appreciate it if you could accompany me. Anyone has a spare shirt? It’s quite chilly today.” The silence was so thick that it could be sliced with a knife into pieces. And I could swear I heard crickets chirping. The males were exchanging puzzled looks and their leader kept piercing me with an icy stare. This was definitely awkward. “How dare you to speak to Alpha in such a way?” The sleazy warrior yelled at me, but the blond leader only lifted his hand, signaling him to stay quiet. But now I was certain he called him an Alpha. Oh, lords! Where the hell was I? Which part of Canada was this? “Where would the lady like to go?” He asked me, showing zero emotion. I didn’t know if he was angry or pleased to have a discussion with me. Nevertheless, at least one of those neanderthal males knew how to behave. I cleared my throat, trying to erase the discomforting thoughts about all of us being naked in the middle of a snowy field. This just looked like the start of a very twisted porn scene. “I am the daughter of the Alpha of Golden Meadows pack and I request to be escorted to my pack right away.” I stated firmly, holding my chin high. Several warriors sighed, their eyes filled with surprise or shock. They finally realized I was an important ranked she-wolf. Good. Perhaps I could even forgive their inappropriate behavior and rude grabbing. “Golden Meadows? As a Golden Meadows of Yukon?” The Alpha guy burst out unexpectedly and I didn’t understand such a question. Was he dumb? If not Yukon, then which other realm should it be? “Correct, Alpha. I see you are good at geography. Thumbs up. Can we get going now?” I clapped my hands, but he did not seem to be impressed. I assumed I shouldn’t have been sarcastic. We just met, he was not used to my humor yet. Well, hopefully it did not offend him. Alphas tend to have a short temper. “Are you aware of the fact that this is not Yukon but Alaska?” He grabbed my hand and pulled me closer to him and if a gaze could kill, I would be dead in less than a second. His eyes were filled with pure hatred and disgust. But Alaska? Alaska??? Oh, no. This was bad. This was worse than just bad. This was hell. Alaska was a sworn enemy of Yukon territory. Those people hated our guts and would not hesitate to slaughter anyone crossing their border. The death under rouge claws suddenly seemed like a walk through a rose garden. Son of a hell! “Um, sorry. I must be confused. Those rogues freaked me out and my brain is a bit slow now. Did I say Yukon? Ew. I hate that realm. I am, of course, Alaskan. Born and raised.” I gulped hard and prayed to the Moon Goddess that my little trick would work. The warriors started to whisper among themselves, but one loud growl from their leader made them quiet again. “Oh really? Which pack do you belong to then?” The Alpha guy arched his brow at me and my palms got all sweaty. Which pack. Hm, let's see. I didn't remember much about Alaska's politics. I remembered a few names of their packs, though. But which one would not raise the suspicion? I decided to shoot randomly. “Crystal Snow pack.” I replied, praying secretly to the Mood Goddess for the lie to work. There was a moment of awkward silence, the blond Alpha measuring me from top to down without blinking. And I realized that my little lie did not work. Damnit. “So you're a member of my pack. Interesting. Mind-link me.” Hm, and now what? “Maybe later, Alpha. I am exhausted after the run and...” I tried to come up with some excuse, even bowed my head respectfully, but he obviously had enough of my little theater show and pushed me, making me fall on the ground. “Take her to the camp and chain her with silver. Never have I had a chance to f**k a Yukon female before. And a ranked one! That’ll add to my bed collection perfectly.” What did the moron of Alpha say to me? That I would be some kind of nice decoration on his bedsheets? He didn’t know who he was dealing with. I had alpha blood in my veins too and he would not talk to me in such a way. “I beg to differ. You should find someone else to serve you in bed. I am no one’s toy.” I spat the words at him, standing up fearlessly and Cleo patted my shoulders proudly. But I would very soon learn that this man did not tolerate any type of complaint or protest. He stretched his palm and slapped my face so hard that I fell back to the ground with my nose buried deep in the snow, losing consciousness.
