Masanori and Ichika stood at what must have once been the mouth of a small creek leading into a large, magnificent lake. From what he could tell based on how the dirt and sand splayed about the ground, the lake hadn’t dried out due to lack of water flow over the years. Rather, the water had disappeared within days, possibly even faster. If the dried landscape had once been a glorious body of water, surely there had to be a drop left somewhere?
