Josh and Evan started talking quietly to themselves as they waited for the food to be served while Jake and Liam sat there oddly quiet with each pretending to be too busy on their phones. It was awkward to say the least because they used to talk, but now things had changed between them and none of them was sure if they could ever go back to how they used to be.
Liam wanted them to be together and Jake, Jake was still trying to figure out his feelings. The feelings he’d never experienced before but were slowly consuming him.
Thankfully, they didn’t have to pretend long enough as the waiter came back with their food and they were both glad for the distraction. They ate in silence while Evan and Josh continued to chat between themselves.
