"This is terrifying. Who could have used such a malicious method to kill our guards?" Holly asked.
"Could it be the werewolves from the Black Moon clan?" Sophie added, her voice trembling.
"Girls, detecting isn't our job. As physicians, our duty is to use our expertise to determine the cause of death of the guards, to prevent new werewolves from falling victim to the same fate," Dr. Helena said sternly.
"After the examination just now, do you have any other findings?"
"Well... only the DNA of 5 missing werewolves was detected on that batch of ashes, and nothing else was found. Under the microscope, the bodies of the werewolves seemed to have been melted by something," Lily said.
