Today, Chloe was absent from English class, as I noticed the seat next to Kyle, which she had stolen from me, was left empty.
Kyle noticing that I had entered the classroom, dragged the chair away from the table indicating for me to sit next to him. His eyes embraced me with warmth.
Chrissy and Bailey were annoyed as usual by his gesture but I sat next to him anyway, rather than sitting in between them both, which I hated.
