"Hahaha nice joke" Ada will not fall for such a trap, seriously did they think she was dumb
"We are serious" They said while looking at Ada weirdly, as if she was the one talking about swans, really these people
"Please stop making a fool out of me! First you'll drenched me in cold water, in winter! Then you'll talked to me in a very demeaning manner referring to me as 'it' and then finally you are questioning my intelligence by suggesting that you are swans! Like seriously guys" Ada was angry, very angry by the time she finished her tirade, she always had a little short temper, and she tried really hard to control it too on most occasions, but this was just too much
"We have angered it! " Dana said while looking shocked
"Again it!? What the hell is wrong with you'll!? Are you the super rich snobby people of this academy that-"
"Calm down dear! " Diana interrupted her "It seems you do not know what you have gotten into, come with us we will show you"
"I don't want to " she was very creeped out, the way they talked, the way they looked.
"Come dear we will take permission from mom" Dana chimed in
"mom? " now who the hell was their mom
"Mrs. Greta, you might know her, she is the chief of this dorm"
What the hell was happening here, she had to trust them, may be what they say could help her to find her sister, and more than anything else she might be able to uncover the mystery of this place, and they did not look particularly evil
But one thing she was sure of, they cannot be swans!
Clearly she was wrong! In front of her in the pond, which was sparkling due to sunlight, were two swans, one was ivory white, while other was midnight black, and they were both looking at her expectantly
Why was she not the one to give into vapours, it would be a good idea to faint now, if only she could summon it , how was this possible, was this some kind of a joke, was she dreaming?, she need to wake up soon, may be she is transported elsewhere, what the hell is she seeing right now?
"I think she is in shock"
"You think? "
She could even hear the swans conversing! What the hell was wrong with her?
She felt a tap on her shoulder, Dana and Diana were again in their human forms, and they were looking at her guiltily
"Umm do you believe us now? " Dana was the first one to speak, she was the ivory swan, is.
"yea, yea sure, you'll are swans no big deal, I see people converting in swans everyday, we talk about it all the time, infact it is our casual breakfast conversation, I see swans everywhere I go I-"
"Oh sweetie !" Diana hugged her, as if she was consoling a child.
"I think we should take her to the cafeteria, she might recover faster with some coffee" Dana suggested
Ada was sitting in the most luxurious cafeteria, with a hot cup latte in her hands, the warmth seeped through her gloves making her feel calm, well as calm as she could be, considering the very surprising events which had taken place.
She took in her surroundings, the cafeteria was being set up, for the winter session which was to begin day after tomorrow, luxurious sofas were being laid on soft carpets, the fire place was lit giving a soft glow, there were bookshelves on one side, if someone wanted to read while snacking, different snack were being laid down on the menu one by one, by the chef, who was smiling at them warmly in a fatherly manner
"He is our Father Mr. Grant Garrison" Dana introduced while pointing at the chef, as he approached their table with a plate full of fries
"Hello daughters, I see you'll made a friend already! " Mr. Garrison said, as he smiled at them warmly, before giving a smile to Ada as well
"Why is she not saying anything though? " he whispered in Diana's ear
"She is a human dad !" Dana answered
"Oh! That is why she is dressed like that, no offence dear" he said looking at Ada guiltily
Were everyone rude here!
"Actually we last heard of a human 3 years back but it hid itself pretty well" Mr. Garrison said
Human? Were they talking about Ana? Did they know something about her?
"Who?"
"Oh she can talk!" their father awed
Great! Just Great!
"Yes father, she can talk, hear us and also see us, and she gets offended really easily, if we continue with this" Dana said in a playful tone
Mr. Garisson laughed
"Alright dears, I'll leave you'll with your new friend then"
"we are sorry Ada but this is how people might likely greet you, when we start the academy, it a good trial run han? " Diana joked
Ada smiled back, they were not bad afterall
"Oh thank god! We thought you were very cross with us" Dana said in relief
"Did you see I can smile too! " Ada said with a mock awed Expression
While Dana and Diana laughed
"So you'll are really swans? " Ada finally asked
"Yep"
"Affirmative "
"Anything else I should know? " Ada prepared herself
"Well you might be knowing, this academy caters to the rich, beautiful and smart"
She nodded
"Well we are the beautiful, humans are the smart, while peacocks are the rich"
