CHAPTER 7: THE REVENGE PLAN

One day as Rosie was going to the bar, she saw a familiar face. It was… Alex. She noticed Alex at the bar, spotting a vivid shade of pink lipstick. As she walked towards him, a plan taking shape in her mind, Rosie’s eyes grew wide.

“Well, well, well.” Rosie said sarcastically, “Look who’s trying to be the queen of the night.”

Alex’s expression was a mixture of surprise and regret. “Rosie. I … I can explain,” he stumbled.

But Rosie wouldn’t allow it. She reached into her purse and took out a tube of lipstick that was the same shade of pink as Alex’s.

“You want to play dress up?” She asked, her eyes flashing with rage.

“Let’s play” Rosie applied the lipstick to Alex’s cheeks in a hurry, leaving a smudge of vivid pink behind. As the bar erupted in cheers and applause, Alex watched in horror.

Rosie smiled sweetly. “That’s for cheating on me,” she said, then turned around and walked away. Rosie felt satisfied as she left the bar. The pink lipstick was a good choice, Rosie thought, smiling to herself. It symbolised her fun and playful side, and she was glad she had been able to display it so boldly.

With a sense of purpose, Rosie made plans for her future. She knew it wouldn’t be easy, but she was ready. As Rosie sat down to write her journal, she experienced clarity and a sense of direction. She started writing down her goals and aspirations, her heart racing with excitement. She knew she had a long way to go.

The revenge plan worked, but Rosie knew it was just the beginning. She was excited to start a new chapter in her life, one that would be filled with adventure, love, and happiness. As Rosie closed her journal, she felt resolute and optimistic. She feels like she had finally found closure.
