Previously:
"Do you have any other questions?" He asked and I shook my head in on. He watched me intently waiting that I might back off from the question. After an unsuccessful attempt, he sighed in defeat.
"It was revenge," he murmured and focused his gaze somewhere else, already deep in thought.
Revenge? - it wasn't what I was expecting.
He pauses and didn't continue for a long time and I realized that he was having a hard time talking about it. I opened my mouth to speak when he harshly cut me off, "That's as much as I can say, the rest turned out in your favour so let it be." and with that, he turned around abruptly.
My mouth moved on its own and before I knew it, I found myself saying the words I had never said to anyone before.
"I am sorry."
