I put on my most innocent of smiles, "Just a little left to it is my father's office, where the secret exit could be."
He stared at me for complete 30 seconds during which I tried to look as innocent and convincing as possible while ignoring the fact that he seemed to think of me as a lunatic woman who had a death wish and was about to drag him in it too.
"You're f*****g insane. Theodore should have left you to get married to your dumb fiance." He had his reasons to say that but now I wanted to drag him into the hell hole with me, even more.
