She did not know what to make of it. He was looking right at her, his expression with a hint of smirk playing across his lips.
What was really interesting was his hair. He had thick jet black dread locks which were waist length and one could count them to not more than twenty. They swayed with every stride he took.
The way he was dressed added some mystery to him. He was wearing a black dashiki shirt with gold prints. It hugged his defined torso which was a sign of someone who worked out a lot. The pants were plain black chinos.
He was dark in complexion and the skin tone complemented his overall look.
His predatory walk gave an aura of some supernatural being.
Whenever he passed his presence was felt, scores of curious onlookers would stare at him as he passed them. Indeed he was enigmatic.
She was jolted back by the sound of his voice. It was deep and husky.
“Naledi right? It’s Kay.” He extended his right arm after she nodded her head and looked at her with a discerning smile.
He was very tall, if he could make her look up despite the high heels she was wearing which accentuated her already above average height to hundred and eighty centimetres or so about.
He had deep brown eyes that could easily be mistaken for black. His jawline was sharp. His lips were thick and would fit so perfectly with hers. She closed her eyes to distract that image from forming.
His burning gaze flickered as the corners of his lips lifted into a smile revealing a set of pearly even white teeth which contrasted beautifully with his melanin.
She extended her hand and it was grasped in his while his other arm went around her shoulder for a hug. It was both a handshake and a hug. It made her feel at ease, although it maintained the formality of a handshake, it also portrayed friendliness and openness.
“Hi Kay, forgive my tardiness. I have been waiting by the other entrance, I realised later that I should have been standing on this one. I…” she stumbled on her lengthy apology.
The whole time Kay had that fixed smile as he was gazing at her full and plump lips which had just the right touch of lip gloss.
Her lips were tempting him, begging to be kissed.
He felt a stirring in his loins at the thought of that, his imagination was running wild. How he wished he could run his thumb on them, pressing down on the lower lip forcing them to slightly part and open for his… He shook his head to clear his line of thoughts.
“No need to apologise” he quickly responded to make her feel at ease. Talk of hypocrisy, just a while ago he was annoyed by her late coming, yet there he was accepting and pretending it did not bother him.
After the formalities, he bowed slightly and waved in front of him
“Shall we...” He invited her as he guided her up to ascend the stairs.
He could not help himself as he took a full view of her ample assets.
“Damn! She is so fine!” he raised his eyebrows as he muttered to himself.
Mother Nature was pretty generous with her.
Her breasts were bigger and fuller and could be a DD cup size.
A cleavage was always a turn on for him. She had a voluptuous silhouette like an hour glass, curvier hips which moved provocatively as if she was luring him. Her butt was shapely, thick and curvaceous.
To him, she was the reflection of splendor, a marvel to look at.
He matched her step, slightly behind, his palm on her back to support her.
They decided to sit by the terrace adjoining the bar and restaurant, away from the chattering noise.
He pulled out a chair for her, pushed it slightly in as she sat down, then took his seat opposite her. She was impressed with his gentlemanly behavior.
The waiter came to their table and handed them the drink menu.
“You go first,” he forwarded it to her.
She quickly glanced at it and ordered a gin and tonic. She had a long day at the office, a glass of that would quench and refresh her.
“Make it a double please and add some lime as well” she smiled at the waiter as she passed the menu back to Kay.
“Have you tried it with some cucumber slices?” He enquired.
“You reckon?” she quipped. “I suppose I could,” she decided as she made the request.
To her dismay Kay ordered a Malawi Shandy. She looked down with mixed emotions, feeling uncomfortable. Not that she was apologetic about it…
Her bewildered look did not go unnoticed. “I seldom drink, however most of my friends do. I do not have a problem hanging out with them, so feel free and indulge.” He quickly allayed her fears.
True to his word, she did enjoy the drink, to a very great extend for that matter. She was amazed at how the slices changed the taste. The gin tasted mellow, fresh and sweet in character.
“How on earth did you know, I mean it is not like you really drink?” She asked and studied him.
He smirked and took a good swig of his drink.
They decided on an a la carte menu and placed their orders.
She was feeling calm and collected. There was an element of cheerfulness as well which he was enjoying.
He offered her another round, she accepted it under the condition that it was to be the last one for the day.
Her predicament was that she had to drive herself home. She did not want to drink herself to a point where she would be intoxicated.
She found Kay to be very charming.
They were unaware of everyone around them, it was just the two of them, so engrossed in each other. What was amazing was how easily their conversation flowed.
They sat there for some time talking about anything under the sun. Time and again she would break into a smile and sometimes a burst of uncontrollable laughter at something he said.
He was knowledgeable about a lot of issues, from current affairs, politics, to her surprise, even the stock market. She was astounded by his level of intellect. She had always found intelligence and the human mind to be the most sexually attractive feature.
She was attracted to him
Although he was not the typical kind she would go for, but, she was drawn to him, like a moth to a flame.
