As the battle subsided, we let out a collective sigh of relief.
We'd won at all costs. The den was quiet, the only sound that echoed was the heavy breathing of the crew members.
Sunny immediately gave a shout of Victory. He screamed and collapsed on the floor, breathing heavily.
“ Never knew we were going to make it all alive"Excitement washed through his face.
Tyler shifted his gaze to me and Raven. “ Good job pals” his eyes sparkled with excitement.
I nodded smoothly. “We did it”
Raven didn't say a word. She just lay still on the ground, her expression unreadable.
“Are you okay?” I asked her.
" Yes, I'm fine. Let's rest for a bit," Raven said, her voice softening as she gazed around at her team. "We need to rest before we search for Bruno."
