Raven’s POV
“What I'm I doing in your house? I moved earlier. How did you bring me back?” I snapped at the stranger, my head spinning.
Everything that happened from the time I got attacked blurred inside me. I couldn't wrap my head around it.
The stranger moved with deliberate steps towards me, his tone laced with warning.
“You’re lucky to be alive. Your refusal to yield to instruction almost got you killed. You don't seem to understand the dangers out there, which makes you want to take unnecessary risk” he said, his voice low.
I blinked, trying to relate what the stranger said to what happened earlier.
“What danger are you talking about? I didn't notice anything” I said, my memory hazy.
