Raven's POV
We hurried to the medicine home to see Jax. I had left him without telling him about my whereabouts. By now , Jax should be worried as hell especially because of the extra time I wasted with the crew.
We reached the place only to find out that Jax left a few moments ago.
“ What are you saying?” I snapped at the man caring for Jax.
He kept giving flimsy excuses. The ones that got me provoked.
“ I tried to convince him to stay, emphasizing the importance of further treatments but he insisted on going home” The medicine man explained .
This didn't stop me from yelling at him.
“ Isn't it not the reason I paid you? You were supposed to—”
“Let it go, Ghost” Tyler stepped forward, cutting me off. “ Jax is an adult capable of making his own decisions”
