Smoke swirled the air, covering the entire room.
Raven was coughing chestily but what baffles me was that someone kept calling her name from nowhere.
Those mysterious men from before were the ones responsible for the deadly ambush that set everything ablaze in the restaurant, killing innocent humans and wolves.
Everything remained mystical to me—the sword piercing the door and the fire.
But the men earlier. Where could they be? I wasn't if they were still in the restaurant. Or maybe they just disappeared.
The fantasy hasn’t faded yet.
From the smoke, the voice calling Raven's name didn't stop; instead, it became more loud and piercing.
We needed to find a way out of the restaurant.The fire was close to where we were now. I could feel it scorch my skin from a distance.
