Raven’s POV
His blood flooded my mouth. It was warm and metallic. I felt it when the bond snapped into place. Heat exploded in me. His heartbeat slam against mine. Our scents twisted together until I couldn’t tell where I ended and he began.
We were one.
This was what I dreamed about before my dream became the mother of all nightmares.
I kept my teeth in Jax's flesh for a while, then I pulled back slowly. My lips came away red with his blood. I licked them and smiled.
