Her words hurt me. What happened on that field was a disaster, truly. Ever since I started fighting battles, I had never performed that poorly. If it wasn't for Raven, I would be dead now. What made me feel slightly better was that Fabiola didn't outperform me. He was even worse in that battle against the foreigners.
Raven saved us both.
Now, she stared at me impatiently, arms folded on her chest. She looked eager to return to Fabiola.
"I didn't know you had something going on with Fabiola," I told her.
