Olivia couldn't calm her friend's hysteria. She regretted telling her about the kiss. It had only lasted a moment, but she felt as if Justin's lips were on hers. She had fled, leaving him standing there in the middle of the suite. She slightly regretted not having been able to deepen the kiss; he hadn't had the chance to break through the barrier of her lips. God, this man was driving her even crazier after that. They had only known each other for less than two days, and already she felt irresistibly drawn to him, as if their bodies were made for each other. As if fate wanted to bring them together at any cost. She closed her eyes for a moment, her body and mind overwhelmed by a myriad of indescribable and unknown feelings, and Roxy, who kept chattering around her, was not helping her situation; on the contrary, it was only making it worse.
Roxy, stop, you're preventing me from thinking properly.
"Do you realize? You were kissed by one of the most eligible bachelors on the entire American continent and number one on the list of the ten most handsome men in America, and you don't seem to realize how lucky you are?" Roxy exclaimed in a high-pitched, ear-splitting voice.
"Have you done any research on him?" Olivia asked.
"Of course, I can even tell you everything I know about him," Roxy replied excitedly.
Without even giving Olivia a chance to reply, she launched into a story about Justin's life as if she'd known him for ages. She left her to talk alone because she was a little on edge; she needed to get away from the hotel, to go for a walk and clear her head. She felt a bit guilty about leaving her friend alone, but she wanted to be alone with her thoughts. She asked permission for the rest of the day and hurried out of the hotel.

Justin watched the young woman leave thanks to the security cameras in his office. He thought that by kissing her, he could stop the surge of desire that rose within him whenever he saw her, but on the contrary, it only intensified. He took a drink to calm the simmering anger that was beginning to rise inside him. The door opened; he expected to see Kyle, but instead, he saw someone he never wanted to see again in his life.
"Madison," he growled.
- Yes, my love, did you miss me?
She approached him with a feline grace. She wore a plunging neckline that revealed her breasts, which had undergone numerous surgeries. She tried to kiss him, but he pushed her away. She widened her eyes with a mock-indignant expression.
"What are you doing here, Madison?" he asked curtly.
"Can't you see? I came to see my man who abandoned me for three years without a word." She replied, sitting down.
Justin gave a bitter laugh and glared at her with disgust. He approached her and pinned her against the wall.
"I abandoned you?" he asked. "I don't know what you're looking for here, but let me tell you, it was a bad idea, a very bad idea. I haven't forgotten the dirty trick you played on me, and believe me, I won't let you get away with it."
- Justin, stop, you're suffocating me.
"Believe me, I really want to kill you. What did you think? That I was going to welcome you with open arms? With a candlelit dinner or a picnic? You're very mistaken, my dear." He continued, tightening his grip.
She turned pale, struggling to breathe, but Justin didn't care. He was angry enough to think straight, yet he wasn't the type to lose control. A hand as firm as his was enough to make her let go. He saw Kyle trying to calm him down, sent Madison out, and came to his senses.
"What's gotten into you?" Kyle asked. "You almost killed her, damn it. Do you want to become an assassin now?"
"Let go of me, Kyle," Justin replied.
He let go and began to observe him. He let him sit down before doing the same himself. Justin was visibly on edge; he had just experienced a magical moment before Madison ruined everything with her mere presence.
- What's wrong with you, Justin? I've never seen you lose control like this since I've known you.
"There's nothing to say, Kyle," replied Justin, getting up. He went to stand in front of the bay window and gazed at the city.
- Do you want to talk about it?
Justin sighed slightly before turning to his friend. He shook his head gently; he knew Kyle and he knew he wouldn't leave until he'd gotten everything off his chest. He sat back down and stared at Kyle, who was still waiting.
It's not so much Madison who put me in this state. It's this feeling that I can't explain that makes me angry. I wish I could explain it, but I can't.
- What feeling are you talking about?
- Never mind Kyle, I can't explain it myself. Tell me why you're here. I thought I wouldn't see you until tomorrow.
"I must say, my plans have changed a bit, my dear friend. You're not the only one with secrets to keep to yourself," Kyle replied proudly.
"Admit that you missed your target," Justin replied, a mocking smile on his lips.
- You know me, Justin, the chances of me missing my target are slim. She's a bit reluctant, but it's only a matter of time.
- This is the first time I've ever heard of such a thing, Kyle Cyrus being unable to tame prey is unheard of.
"Ah my friend, I'm glad you've regained your color," he remarked. "Would you like a drink?"
- Gladly, even though I'm supposed to be the one proposing it.

Olivia arrived at the park, walking with a nonchalant gait. She paid no attention to the world around her. She spotted a bench, sat down, and began watching the children playing happily. She sensed a presence behind her. She turned around and her eyes widened in surprise at the person standing right in front of her. Her breath caught for a moment...
