Day fifty-six of being a rock.
How the hell am I gonna find her!?
I've watched this video some many times I could describe each frame from memory alone. After all, there's nothing else to do! My daily life consists of doing one of three things: resting my mind by not trying to think about anything, throwing that out the window and thinking all damn day, and watching this recording of my life.
Just send me back to the customer counter.
The only thing that changes is my recall ability adds more footage onto the end of the playback each time, but it's only of me sitting here in the grass. But every time I watch it, my objective is cemented further in my mind: I need to find that fairy.
With all this time to think about it, it has led to a lot of questions and assumptions. The fairy had to have been the reason or at least the cause I was brought here. While I've accepted this conclusion now, I've argued with myself against it as well. It could've been just a coincidence, but the events line up too perfectly with my awakening. She must've used her power to either force me into my current predicament, or the timing of my death and her enchantment were like the planets aligning and I drew the bad hand.
She's the only person that I know who can fix this... if she can. But I have to stay positive. If I don't, then there really is nothing to do but sit here and be a rock. I can do this. I have to try...
...I'm so screwed.

Day fifty-seven of being a rock. I can here a voice. Someone or something is coming. If they can just kick me, I can get some defense and something might change. However, my hope is dwindling. I got a new skill at what I assume was level one: self-awareness. It took awhile, but my skill made it to level five, which granted me the ability recall, but my defense hasn't changed since. I'm not certain, but I have the suspicion that my next skill won't be assigned till my defense reaches level ten. Even if whoever is out there picked me up and threw me, my defense would never increase enough to reach that. That's also under the assumption that five isn't the maximum level I can reach and I'll just be stuck the same as I was, but a new location.
It doesn't matter. Whatever change occurs to me today or the next, I'll embrace it openly. Something has to give before I do.
"I'm so screwed," a voice followed the thud of a tree trunk.
Sounded as if that tree earned an unnecessary new shoe print. That tree didn't do anything to deserve that. I never found myself to be a tree hugger in my past life, but I'm surprisingly sympathetic to the nature around me in this one. They must be brainwashing me with their whispers in the breeze... I shutter at the thought.
"I lost that brand new sword and without a silver left to my name. Now I have to find another way to make money so I can go back to monster hunting."
Ah, misfortune has found this traveler, but his undoing may be my saving grace. Kick me!
"Now I'll never be able to buy that present for Sandra. What am I going to do?"
Come on! Kick me!
"I just can't catch a break."
Gosh this guy sounds just like I me... It's okay buddy, take your frustration out on this lonely ole rock sitting here! Come on, it's ripe for the kicking!
The voice has grown surprisingly close, he's practically on top of me. I'm watching my self-awareness, but there's no sing of him. If only—but that's when it happened; it started raining. But it wasn't rain as in the description of a natural occurrence by the planters weeping sky pillows. Those aren't followed by the sound of a grown man wrinkling his face and gasping for air as he sobs. No, this rain was only for the benefit of the grass in my immediate surrounding, tears.
Soon after, a brushing sound resonated as I assume the man slid down a surface into a fetal position, but now his just continuing to sob.
Crap... this is gonna take a while.
And it is. I've been watching recall for what I can only assume has been hours. It was much easier to get a sense of time atop the cliff since I was able to use my shadow as a sun dial, but down here in the woods, it's either light or dark without any discernible in-betweens.
However, it's been a bit of time since the last time I heard the man sniffle, so maybe it's getting close to go time.
"I guess I could trace my steps again and try to find that sword," the man said shuffling to his feet.
No, he came from the opposite direction! Just please kick me before you leave.
Suddenly, the sound of shuffling turned into stumbling. "Woah, holy crap!"
With those words, my self-awareness has gone dark. It seems the man took a tumble and landed on me.
"Ah damn, what did I hit?"
Well if you knew how to use your legs properly, you wouldn't have landed on me!
The daylight has rekindled my view, but I guess it was short-lived. A hand appeared, and it was dark again. The man must of picked me up.
"Ah, I stupid rock."
Hey, who you calling stupid, buddy?! Call me stupid again, I dare ya!
"That's right. You're a stupid little waste of nothing. Just like—"
—Charisma Raised—
—New Skill—
—Verbalize—
"That's it, your the first on my hit list when I get out of—woah!" my view brightened once more as the man dropped me in an instant... wait.
"What the hell?! This rock can talk?!"
"I can talk?!"
