Jenny threw herself into her work over the next few weeks. She pushed Logan from her mind. At least she tried to. She avoided Matt’s calls and barely talked to Erika. Work was the only thing that kept her going.
Her shifts at Thomas’s kept her on her feet and exhausted. She picked up a few extra shifts and worked herself into exhaustion most days. When she managed to hold onto some energy after working all day she spent time working on her app. Her initial run at it was good, but she kept tweaking and making improvements. She also worked hard to get more companies to ** and even confirmed a few advertisers.
Things were going well from the outside.
But on the inside Jenny was a wreck. She hadn’t called Logan. She hadn’t sought him out. And she hadn’t seen him.
