Jenny found a seat in the Food Court while she waited for Erika. People milled around, but there were plenty of seats since it was mid-afternoon. A young mother chased after her toddler while balancing a baby on her hip. An older couple held hands while talking through their early dinner options. Jenny watched as a good looking guy walked by talking on his phone. She heard him say, “Okay, I’m headed your way. We need to pick up something for the party tomorrow night for Dad.” His voice drifted away but Jenny followed him with her eyes until Erika came into view.
