That night everything was perfect . There were no fights and arguments, we didn't teased each other. We went to dinner with everyone ,had it and headed back. Surprisingly there was no sign of Nicole throughout this. I was expecting him to take revenge of whatever I did this afternoon but nothing of that sort happened.
I kept turning and tossing throughout the time when we were sleeping .
Finally getting irritated Chris asked, "what's the matter?
"What? "
"Why aren't you sleeping? "He asked the obvious.
"Because I can't. "I blurted out,"Why aren't you taking the revenge? Why are you being so good to me? Opening doors for me? Saying thank you? It's not you. Why are you doing this? "
"I wanted to try the other way round. I was just being a nice friend. Nothing else, chill woman "He justified. I just nodded at this and tried to sleep.

Next morning I opened my eyes to find Chris looking at my face and smiling.' Is he okay?' Was my first thought of the day.
"What? "I asked him while I yawned and streched.
"You are looking pretty, Eliza "he said with sincerity and my jaw dropped. I poked him in his right cheek.
"Are you okay? "
"Yaa..I am, but to tell you the truth ..you are looking pretty "
"Am I? "I asked myself and simultaneously pushed my butt up and started walking towards the mirror.
That's when my expression changed,from horrific to pissed up. I turned back at once with my face covered with lipstick. That i***t drew sun,moon and stars and planets on my face and had written Mr.SSOff on my face. How could he! He has to die now.
I went back to room with the same face.
"See I told you that you are looking pretty today."he said between his giant like laughter. I took the nearest pillow and threw it on him which he easily dodged.
"Why did you do this? "I spitted out.
"It's revenge, evil woman, revenge "he threw back the pillow which hit me on my face and that gave him another reason for laughing.
"You are gonna pay for this ...shirtless show off "I said and marched back to the washroom to undo the extra, unwanted make-up on my face.
