Chapter Three

         The moment  Candice smiled warmly at Sheila,Sheila felt it in my heart that she'd found an ally in this vast cold castle's.By noontime they still were not through with exploring the castle,she was sore ,tired and extremely famished.candice noticed this and took Sheila to her Chambers.Noticing the untouched chambers ,Candice could tell her brother the king had not spent his nuptial night in his wife's room and she was ready to rectify that.

Candice knew her brother had been irrevocably and obsessively in love with Theia Aquorose,his wife's twin sister.From the moment their father had announced an engagement between the two when they were only at the tender ages of 14 and 16,the two had been inseparable.But unfortunately due to a tragic event Theia had died at the age of 17,four years ago.

She'd have wholly scared for her brother's life when he had tried to ruin himself by drinking and womanizing with different maidens in the castle and courtesans.Their father the king had been frightened for his favorite son's life,which led him to fix another marriage between her brother and his late fiancee's twin sister.since Sheila was a look alike to Theia,the former king thought his son would be appeased but instead this act fueled hatred in his brother's heart.Her brother believed it was Sheila that had Theia killed and he was determined to find out her involvement and behead her in the gallows.

       But coming to know and see the angelic gleam in Sheila's eyes,Candice was certain Sheila wasn't a desperate murderess that would kill her own biological twin sister and she was ready to make Aldrich(the king)see that.

It was already dusk,Sheila was sitted in the confines of her chamber ,staring the setting sun with it's warm yellowish rays disappearing behind the pointy hillytops farway,she heard a knock on her door and a female servant she recognized came running in.

"Your..g..grace..it's the princess".The maid struggled for breath,huffing and panting due to the run she'd ran.

"What happened"Sheila inquired urgently,fear gripped her heart.

"She needs your help..my queen..urgently ".she grabbed my hand and both of us rushed out of the chamber. They went downstairs,through the huge doors and we went to the Northside garden of the castle where a lake was located.

Sheila searched with her eyes for any bodily wounds or any harm on Candice's body for she was standing dressed in a pink warm gown ,standing next to the lake,staring at nothing in particular.

"Candice are you okay..?but you seem okay".she told her,confused.

         Candice started laughing which made Sheila even more perplexed."it was just a prank dear...and I needed your company.Did you see how you looked like,while running here". Candice's laughter had transformed into a full blown one.

Sheila frowned at Candice,she looked at the water next to them and smiled a mischievous smile.immediately she pushed Candice into the lake.candice yelped in shock as she fell into the lake with a splashing sound.it was Sheila's turn to laugh at her and Sheila certainly did.

      Meanwhile king Aldrich was standing few distances away,watching this exchange.it was hurts so much reminiscing of Theia in place of her sister everyday,he wished Theia was here for him to hold her so tight and never let go.It was so unfortunate that Sheila was so much like Theia,they both hated green peas and cooked meat,earlier from the dinning Area he had noticed Sheila's habit.Their body,the smile and the turquoise blue eyes were the most painful.They were like the eyes of a living Theia was staring at him.

      They were supposed to be married at the morning of her 17th birthday and his 19th birthday,but two weeks before the arranged date,she'd gone with Sheila riding into the woods,right before a storm and Theia had died.

He knew Sheila was involved in Theia's death and he knew what to do get the truth he needed.
