Finding Emily

Smelling lavender, I walk inside to see Emily still with Alex. I walk towards them. I nod at Alex first. Looks less suspicious for the other wolves who are watching me to find my mate tonight. I look to Emily and tell her Hi. “Hey man, this is my little sister Emily” Alex says quickly after I say hi. She is Michael’s daughter then if she is Alex’s little sister. Part werewolf of Beta bloodline. Interesting. Means she isn't fully human.

I need to talk to my grandfather about this. I am almost certain she does not know she has a wolf. I tesppnd to her first, “Thank you for coming Emily, you look beautiful.” Smiling at her I turn to Alex and shake his hand. “Hey Alex, thanks for coming! Remember we have more stuff outside for you to check out. Food and drinks will be served throughout the night."

How can I spend time alone with Emily without catching the attention of so many people? This is going to be harder than I thought. Since every wolf here is coming up to me trying to touch me. I guess it is a good thing they know that there are humans here. They will be semi decent and not cause too much trouble.

Since most humans are terrified of the unknown. Werewolves and other magical creatures had kept themselves and our lifestyles a secret, unless absolutely necessary. It is just an easier life for us to adapt to them then the other way around.

Saying my goodbyes to Alex, I see Emily staring up at me. ‘Moon Goddess she is perfect’ I smile at her and wink right before she follows her brother outside. Elijah then tells me, “go after her, she is amazing. Who cares what they have to say about her.

I will kill anyone who brings harm to our mate.” So possessive of Emily, I understand where he is coming from. However, ‘we cannot be that type of Mate or Alpha especially if she does not know about our kind’ I tell him. He sighs and goes back to his quietness. I really cannot blame him.

Emily is breathtakingly gorgeous, and I just want to take her by my side and not let her out of my sight for the rest of our lives. To hold her and keep her safe.
