I didn't need to be told twice that everyone was still looking at me. I knew different questions were running in their minds.
I didn't know how to face them. Looking at my white paw alone is enough evidence that they have seen the secret I have been trying to keep.
‘what will they think of me?’ I thought to myself. Will they be scared of me or will they hate me or will they try to use me for some experiment or for their greedy purpose.
I knew I lied to them about myself and my family but I did it for my own safety.
What will Chris say about this? Will he hate me for being different and for lying to him? So many thoughts kept running to my head.
