Sorin led Nadaria up a set of stairs to the next level of the massive house. The air up here was heavier, and thick with undisturbed dust. She rubbed her nose and glanced over at Sorin. This morning, his heart had seemed lighter than ever before, but now his face was drawn and pulled down by a deep frown.
