I wake up groggy. It's been like this for awhile now. When I wake up I dont really want to open my eyes. I feel tired and useless. Then Dex come running in the room. "Daddy. Your home." He yells as he jumps up on the bed. He throws his arms around me excited to see him and that completely changes my mood. I may not be there for Ariel but I am here with Dex. "Hey buddy. I missed you. Have you been being good for Aunt Jenny and Shasta?" I ask as I ruffle his hair.
"Yeah. Aunt Jenny plays games with me but mommy Shasta is always too busy." he says.
