Hey there! Thanks so much for picking up Pool of Memories and Serpents, I"m sure you"re excited to jump into the next book in the Yumihari World, but in case this is your first book from me, I wanted to pull you aside for a sec to get you up to speed.
Pool of Memories and Serpents can certainly be read and enjoyed seperately of the other novels in this world, but in case you didn"t know already, there"s a whole series that comes in the timeline before this novella. There are quite a few characters and events referenced from the Yokai Calling series, however I did try to write this book without requiring you to have read those previous installments to fully grasp the story. However, that"s not to say that you won"t get the most out of this story if you go read those books first. ;)
