Scarlett pov “Can I please have my vegetables now?” “Marian, you'll need to pay for the vegetables; I have other groceries to pack for the kitchen, " I said with a smile while gently tapping her shoulder, my heart racing as I thought about what else needed to go into the kitchen. As I walked to the other side of the market, my feet hit the cement floor, and a cold breeze swept over me. I froze, sensing a strange presence around me. "Hey, move aside! I don't know why you're just standing there," an elderly man with a white mustache shouted as he brushed past me, pushing me aside.
