The sunlight streamed through the window, flooding my eyes with a warm yellow glow. I slowly opened my eyes, using my elbow to rub the sleep away. A loud yawn escaped me as I struggled to free myself from the duvet. My eyes widened in disbelief when I noticed Katherine sprawled on top of Nyx on the couch.
