Charlotte’s POV He kissed me. It was hard. Fast. His teeth nipped at my lower lip so hard I thought it might draw blood. My spine dug into the tree behind me, rough fingers pinning my wrists over my head. This was not happening. I managed to wriggle one hand free and slapped him across the face as hard as I could. The sound echoed through the garden like a gunshot had gone off. The bodyguard stumbled back, his hand flying to his cheek, eyes going wide with shock. “What the hell is wrong with you?” I demanded, wiping my mouth with the back of my hand.
