Charlotte’s POV Kieran leaned over the front seat to confront me. Anger twisted his face and those snapping eyes glared at me under furrowed brows. For a second I thought he was going to reach for me and hurt me, and my heart raced at having nowhere to escape. “I-I…” I fumbled for words to explain that I hadn’t known about the recording device, “I had no idea that was in there!” I stammered, leaning away from him. “You expect me to believe that?!” Kieran’s voice made me shake and tremble. He leaned further into the backseat, “It’s your bag, isn’t it?” All I could do was stare at Kieran, my eyes wide and terrified.
