As I watch the warriors drag away a young rogue, I slip away into the Black Hills mountains, leaving the pack territory. I walk through the dense trees until I reach a paved road, and see a black truck pulled off, exactly where Leopold said it would be. Once I reach the truck I open the door to see Daniella’s face looking back at me.
“Ugh, what are you doing here?” I groan.
“Oh, shut the hell up, b***h, and get in.” Daniella scowls at me.
I’d love to rip her from this truck, tear her limbs from her body and beat her to a pulp with them, but instead I swallow down the bitterness and climb in.
