Leopold POV
Curled up in bed with Luciana after a night of passion, I feel her gently stir awake in my arms. I nuzzle the side of her neck as she lets out a sigh of contentment. I kiss her cheek before she opens her eyes and looks at me.
“Good morning, my love.” I whisper in her ear.
I smile as she stretches and yawns. “Morning.” She pulls her head back, raising an eyebrow as she looks at me suspiciously. “Why are you looking at me that way?”
“What way?” I ask as I pull her back in, and hold her close.
“Like you want to run away and start a new life together, sort of way.” Luciana says sleepily and she snuggles into me.
