Sarah POV I open my eyes, to a bright light overhead. I smell a rainstorm surrounding me, flooding my senses, and realize I’m wrapped up in the arms of my mate. I look into his face, which is contorted into an expression of extreme pain, tears dampen his cheeks. I shift in his arms, and Travis’ eyes open.  “Sarah...” he whispers. I smile softly at him, before he kisses me deeply. I try to press myself against him but the pain makes me gasp and still.  “Don’t move baby, I’m here.” Travis reassures me. I nod carefully. “Travis, you have to turn me.” I tell him, and he nods in return. “Can you bring our family in here before?”  “Yes baby, of course.” Travis kisses my temple before he slips gently out of the hospital bed, and opens the door.
