Kiko thanked Katie again before pulling on his coat and leaving her to see to Yolks on You on her own. It was afternoon, the lunch rush over now, and he and Dom had agreed last night to meet at Matteo’s business. Dom had been adamant he could take a half-day; Kiko didn’t argue too much, knowing they were very behind on figuring out Sarah’s death, even if they had solved the mystery of what had happened to her missing child.
He pulled onto the road that led to Madison, thinking. He and Dom both agreed that they didn’t have many leads—they didn’t even know how Sarah had died, although Kiko suspected struck on the head by something—or motives.
