Chapter 24
Tad walked over to the group of young people.
“Eduardo!” one of Sarah’s brothers said as he held his fist out to bump Tad’s. They bumped shoulders together, then he gave Tad a pat on the back.
“How are you doing?” Raffie asked. “I haven’t seen you around lately.”
Tad grinned. “I’ve been busy,” was all he said.
“Who is that hot mama you came in with?” Raffie asked.
“Her name’s Laura Stuard. She’s from Canada.”
“Canada? What’s she doing here?” Raffie asked. He tuned to look at Cam.
“She does business with your uncle,” Tad explained.
Sarah stared blatantly at Cam, her eyes wide. She turned to Tad. “What are you doing here?” she asked.
“Your uncle invited me…and Laura.”
“I saw you kiss her,” Sarah whispered.
“So?” Tad said. “You dumped me. I can kiss whoever I want.”
