Chapter 9 Cameron went back to her room, changed clothes, and washed off her makeup. She hated wearing makeup. It was a hassle to remember not to smudge it and no matter what brand she used, unless she bought the expensive European stuff that Laura used to buy, it still felt strange to her. Of course, when you’re not used to wearing any makeup, even a drop would feel strange. When she’d first started her undercover work, it had been a real inconvenience remembering to put makeup on. She had never worried about it before.
