Daniel was at the bar, an elbow supported by the counter, alone, sipping a beer, trying unsuccessfully to ignore Alex, with an occasional glance. God, he is so beautiful. The thought struck him like lightning, and he almost spat out his beer. Not that he hadn’t immediately noticed it. Even when a drunken Alex had opened the door barking at him, Daniel had thought he had never seen anyone so beautiful in his entire life. Then, there was the word adorable still popping up in his mind every time Daniel thought about him. This was bad. He couldn’t allow himself to fall for him, not after Alex had made his disdain clear.
