“Rowan.” I get over my initial surprise pretty fast when I see who it is. “Hey. You made it.”
“Well, your boyfriend asked me to come. I couldn’t refuse such an offer from the Aiden Cross.”
“Hello,” Violet waves her fingers at him. “We meet again.”
“Hi Violet.” He smiles at her. A real Rowan smile.
“You two know each other?” I ask.
“Yeah,” Rowan answers. “I literally ran into her this morning.”
“And he was really sweet about it.” Violet winks at him.
Huh.
Now that I think about it, these two would look pretty good together. Violet has got that no-bullshit vibe going. As for Rowan, he seems pretty chill. I know for a fact that he would balance her out.
That way, she doesn’t have to keep going back to Gary for random hookups.
